Sunflower Heaven
These photos were taken last year - and reflect how the natural garden changes. There were not as many varieties of Sunflowers - but they were profuse!!
These photos are this years garden - we had three or four different types of Sunflowers that made an appearance, including an indigenous one that was pretty different. If you click on these photos they will become full size. You can see the large one near the tree - it has several branches and heads...that is the wild one!! We had to remove the main head. Note the peaches on the young little tree!! In the other end of the yard with the sweet peas, Mexican Hat a small stand of Sunflowers that are totally volunteers!Labels: garden, Sunflowers
