The Phantom has arrived!!!

Here I am with my friend Myra
On October 25 I attended the opening
night performance of The Phantom of The Opera.
It was presented in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the
University's Popejoy Hall. I went with my friends Myra
and Vince - and two of their boys - and we had a
fantastic time. It was exciting and memorable!!

This is a link to a wonderful site that specializes in photographic love letters to Albuquerque!! Now that the Balloons are gone - things are calming down around here! But since the holidays are coming it will not be calm for long. There is always something great to do. And whatever is going on will show up on The Duke City Fix!!
In October and November there will be Broadway performances of The Phantom of the Opera!!! I will be attending on opening night with two of my good friends, Myra and Vince. Very exciting stuff!!
Incidentally, Myra and Vince are the most extraordinary Real Estate Agents EVER!! They found this house for us, sold it to us, and took care of all the details in Rio Rancho while we went back to Florida and packed up. We could not have done it without them!!
Their web site is www.vincentbonino.com

Balloon Fiesta Time in Albuquerque

A single balloon over the roof tops. I took this from my front porch early on the first day of the Balloon Fiesta. Mother Nature was not kind this year. But things got better later.
This image, with the clouds and the sun rays, is one of my favorite natural images. When I was a little kid I thought that this proved that God existed.
This was today - October 10 - when the weather was better - this one in my back yard!
