April 2007 Update
I have been way behind on keeping my entries up to date. So many things have happened since my last post.
In March I had my birthday - then we had an unexpected trip to California as a result of Jack's Father passing away. We flew into Sacramento on March 22 for the funeral proceedings and a visit with his brothers, Gene and Dennis and their families and his mother, Lillian. We stayed with Gene and his wife Sandy and they did everything they could to make me feel welcome and show us as much as possible of the area. It was a little nostalgic for me - as I lived in California as a child and had truly forgotten how beautiful it was. It was a sad occasion - but we do have some pleasant memories to look back on.

And on another level we have had great angst when learning that James would be serving another hitch in the Army and be sent to Iraq for the second time. This time for a year and a half. He will be shipping out on April 9. We will be sharing all information on that with you through the Blog.

In the past month we have had our long awaited bonus checks come in from our part time jobs, we finished our taxes, got our work schedules changed to be more helpful to family life, and of course traveled to California!!
